"Honk!""Honk!" was first hatched at The Watermill Theatre, Newbury, England on December 11, 1993 and was originally called "The Ugly Duckling or the Aesthetically Challenged Farmyard Fowl". A revised version opened on November 28, 1997 at the Stephen Joseph Theatre, in Scarborough. The London premiere was at the Landor Theatre, in Clapham. The National Theatre production of Honk! which ran in rep from December 16, 1999 to March 25, 2000 was the first original British musical ever to be produced there. The production team and cast was rewarded for their efforts with the 2000 Olivier Award for Best New Musical beating out such heavyweights as "Mamma Mia" and "The Lion King".

"Honk!" is the story of Ugly, whose odd, gawky looks instantly incite prejudice from his family and neighbors. Separated from the farm and pursued by a hungry Cat, Ugly must find his way home. Along his rollicking and harrowing journey he not only discovers his true beauty and glorious destiny, but also finds love and acceptance in all its forms.
Fun for the entire family. Honk! Will be performed May 20 – 22, 27 – 29 in George Fox University's Wood-Mar Auditorium. Show time is 7:00 p.m. Tickets go on sale May 3rd and are $10 adults and $7 for students.
