GROUPME is our platform for texting within a team structure. It has been very successful in increasing communication. The advantage of this type of communication is that it is within a platform and individual phone numbers need not be exchanged, therefore safer for our student-athletes. ALL TEXT TYPE COMMUNICATION to players from our coaches will occur using this platform. We will also continue to email when time is not critical.
GS/MS: We ask that at least one parent monitors their sport’s group me network. With parent permission, the student-athletes may sign up as well if they have a mobile device.
HS: We ask that all student-athletes monitor their sport’s group me network. If a student-athlete does not have a phone, a parent should monitor this site. ALL parents are invited to monitor regardless.
