Leadership | C.S. Lewis Academy

Leadership

While leadership is an important characteristic at all grade levels, it becomes an even more important focus in our upper grades.  Middle School and High School students are given many opportunities to be involved in leadership throughout the school.  Students learn to grow in their God-given gifts of leadership by serving the student body in various ways by planning, organizing and facilitating various activities throughout the year.

These Include:

  • Leading worship in MS and HS chapel
  • Teaching assistant in grades K - 11
  • Partnering with an Elementary class on specific projects
  • Working in class groups to organize and facilitate school activities
  • The Middle School leadership team plans service projects, special school activities and class outings for the Middle School.
  • The High School Student Council consists of elected and appointed positions in which students organize and help lead school activities including Fall camp, Homecoming week, Outreach days and many other community-building events.
