Preparing Students For Life

C.S. Lewis Academy seeks to nurture and develop the whole student:  mind, body, and spirit. Our graduates are well grounded, their beliefs are established, and they are prepared for the next phase of their life journey.

Philosophy of Education

The educational process in a Christian school is dependent on a Biblical philosophy. This provides a Biblical worldview and essential truths for life so that students may be prepared to assume their proper place in the home, church and state.

Who is C.S. Lewis?

The name of our school was chosen carefully by the four couples who founded C.S. Lewis Academy. Clive Staples Lewis (1898 – 1963) was a professor at Oxford University. His creativity and skill as an apologist for the Christian faith make him a figure for students to emulate. He fully enjoyed learning, had a fine sense of humor, and made lasting literary and philosophical contributions to our heritage. The lion, our school’s mascot, is a tribute to Aslan, Lewis’s great character from The Chronicles of Narnia.
