The name of our school was chosen carefully by the four couples who founded C.S. Lewis Academy. Clive Staples Lewis (1898 – 1963) was a professor at Oxford University. His creativity and skill as an apologist for the Christian faith make him a figure for students to emulate. He fully enjoyed learning, had a fine sense of humor, and made lasting literary and philosophical contributions to our heritage. The lion, our school’s mascot, is a tribute to Aslan, Lewis’s great character from The Chronicles of Narnia.
At C.S. Lewis Academy, we enjoy a diverse faculty, many of whom have advanced degrees in their fields and many years of educational experience. Most importantly, every member of the CSLA faculty professes their faith in Jesus Christ and desires to care for students both academically and spiritually.
