How much is tuition?

Our tuition rates for the 2023-24 school year are:

Kindergarten (all day) $7725
Grade School (1st—5th) $7725
Middle School (6th—8th) $9050
High School (9th –12th) $9775

** Needs-based financial assistance is available.

What is your average class size?

For the 2023-24 school year our school-wide average class size was 15-16 students.

Our Student-to-Faculty Ratio by campus group is:

What religion/denomination is CSLA? Are you Catholic?

C.S. Lewis Academy is not affiliated with any church or denomination. CSLA families attend many different churches in the greater Yamhill County & Portland Metro areas. Non Denominational chapel services are held each week for students & staff. Parents are invited to attend. Church attendance is not required for enrollment at CSLA.

What time does school begin and end?

For the 2023-24 school year, GS classes are 8am – 2:50pm and MS & HS classes run from 8:10am – 3:00pm.  Wednesdays are late start with GS classes starting at 9:15am  and MS & HS starting at 9:30am, classes end at normal times. This staggered running time helps ease parking lot traffic and avoids congestion in Davis Hall, presently home to both GS & MS classes.

Tell me about your curriculum. What do you use for math? What do you use for 3rd grade? Do you use Abeka?

Rather than a single publisher, we draw from a variety of curricula, giving our teachers the freedom within our curriculum guide to give instruction that allows them to teach students of all learning styles. Bible is incorporated into every subject.

Do you have extracurricular activities?

Yes! CSLA offers a variety of activities beyond the classroom, all subject to yearly interest. We have seasonal sports (cross country, soccer, volleyball, basketball, track & field, trapshooting) for 6th thru 12th grades, 9th-12th graders may participate in 6-man football, subject to yearly interest.  Sports offerings for 3rd - 5th grades are volleyball, soccer, basketball.  We also offer 6-man football for high school students.

Other activities include, outreach projects, yearbook, mission trips, MS outdoor school, student government, and worship team for chapel.
