Administration Positions

Executive Director of School (Head of School)

C.S. Lewis Academy is seeking a mission-driven Executive Director of School (Head of School) to serve as the senior executive leader of our Christian K–12 educational institution. This is a CEO equivalent role providing strategic leadership, operational oversight, financial stewardship, and spiritual direction, ensuring long term sustainability and mission alignment.

The Executive Director reports directly to the Board of Directors and supervises the Principal and Administrative Team, partnering closely to advance academic excellence, student life, and institutional growth.

This is a full-time, onsite leadership position requiring consistent campus presence and engagement with the school community.

Academic Dean

Description

C.S. Lewis Academy, a premier Christian School, is looking for an Academic Dean to support day-to-day academic life.Our school is defined by grounding all curriculum in Biblical truth while ensuring that our students get an engaging and challenging education. The Academic Dean position is uniquely designed to work in a highly collaborative environment between educators and parents.

Responsibilities include:

  • Supporting and mentoring teachers
  • Monitoring lesson plans and grades
  • Creating elementary, middle, and high school schedules
  • Overseeing coursework and “Early College Enrollment” programs
  • Tracking student progress and graduation readiness
  • Supporting admissions and special needs programs
  • Communicating with families
  • Collaborating with admissions director on orientation, promotion, and graduation activities

Requirements

A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education is required, along with middle or high school teaching or academic leadership experience and strong organizational and communication skills.

Oregon Teaching license and experience are both preferred, but not required. A strong commitment to our mission statement is required.
